LaunchList is one-time pricing per waitlist campaign, not a monthly subscription:
You pay once when you cross the free quota and keep using the tool until the campaign is done. There is no monthly bill quietly draining your runway. Full breakdown: pricing page.
One-time. LaunchList does not run a subscription on any plan. You pay once per waitlist campaign at the tier that fits your expected volume, and the plan stays active for that project until you cancel from the dashboard.
This is intentional — pre-launch founders should not be paying a monthly fee for software that's most useful in a 2–4 month window. Subscription tools that charge $50–$200/month before you have revenue are a tax on early stage, and we built the pricing to not be that. See the pricing page.
Yes — the free tier is forever. You get 100 submissions per project, unlimited projects, and the full feature set (referrals, spam protection, integrations, analytics, hosted page, custom branding). No credit card required.
You only upgrade when you cross 100 signups on a specific waitlist. New projects start fresh with their own free 100. For most early validation, the free tier is enough to confirm whether an idea has signal. See pricing.
LaunchList processes payments through Stripe Checkout. Accepted methods:
We do not charge in cryptocurrency, accept invoices for sub-Scale plans, or process via Razorpay or PayPal. Receipts are emailed automatically the moment the payment clears.
If your waitlist receives zero signups in the first 7 days after upgrading, we refund 100% — no questions, no friction. Email [email protected] from the account email and we process it immediately.
Outside that window we evaluate refund requests case-by-case (technical issues, duplicate purchase, etc.). Because pricing is one-time rather than subscription, there is no auto-renew billing to cancel — once you have crossed the 7-day mark and have signups flowing, the plan is yours for the campaign duration.
Forever — for the project you bought it on. There is no expiry, no renewal date, and no auto-charge. As long as you stay within the submission cap (500 for Launch, 10,000 for Grow), your plan keeps running.
If you exceed the cap, new signups are still captured but hidden until you upgrade or buy more capacity. Each waitlist project carries its own plan — duplicating to a new project starts a new free tier.
Yes. From Waitlist → Upgrade, you can buy more submission capacity at any time. The most common path is upgrading from Launch (500) → Grow (10,000) by paying the difference.
For very large lists (100,000+) reach out to [email protected] for a Scale quote. We have customers running 250k+ pre-launch lists who priced it custom.
When you reach your plan's submission cap (100 free, 500 Launch, 10,000 Grow), new signups continue to be captured — but they are hidden in the dashboard until you upgrade. The form keeps working, the queue keeps filling, and visitors see no error.
Upgrade unlocks every hidden signup retroactively, so you do not lose anyone. You'll get an email at 80% capacity and again at 100% so you can upgrade before the dashboard view is gated. Full plan ladder: pricing.
No — each paid plan covers a single waitlist project. If you are running, say, three different product launches under one account, each one needs its own plan once it crosses the free tier.
This keeps pricing predictable per campaign and stops one runaway list from eating capacity meant for another. Each project has its own embed key, hosted page, branding, and analytics. If you'd benefit from a multi-project bundle, email [email protected] — we can quote agency / multi-product setups.
Yes — for verified nonprofits, registered students, and active open-source maintainers, we typically discount Launch and Grow tiers by 30–50%. Email [email protected] from your .edu / org / GitHub-connected address with a short note about the project and we'll send a custom checkout link.
The free tier already covers most early-stage student and indie projects (100 signups), so you may not need a paid plan in the first place — see free plan.
Free for the first 100 signups. No credit card. Up and running in under 5 minutes.
